| Corporations, LLCs, and registered Limited Partnerships doing business in Montana must continuously maintain a Registered Agent with a physical Montana street address (a PO Box alone does not qualify). The agent may be an individual resident of Montana or an entity authorized to do business in Montana, must be available at that address during normal business hours to accept service of process, and receives official state notices on the entity's behalf.
